Video:

I could only give the video a 3 because there was a lot of "smearing" in the fast action scenes, it was also fuzzy on disc 2-probally the result of of too much compression being applied.

Audio:

No problems with the audio, I only listened to the english track, though.

Subtitle:

I tried them and no problems as is usually the case with an R1 rip.

Comment:

This is a cute series, the food themed eposodes were somewhat unique, the english dub was very well done. I did notice that the discs were dvd r's, not regular pressed ones and that disc 1 was actually disc 2 and vice versa.

Video:

Set comprises 2 discs, each holding 13 half-length episodes. On the first disc, for the first several episodes, there was some pixellation during very fast movement (like on the rollercoaster, etc... but not especially noticeable unless viewed up close.) Apart from that, the video looked really great with nice vivid colours!

Audio:

Japanese and English tracks both sounded fine to me. No problems to report here! Watching lots of episodes back-to-back, the theme music tends to get lodged in your brain! Luckily, I really liked them!!!

Subtitle:

Subtitles are straight off the R1 discs. Two tracks ~ English translation and English lyrics/signs. The lyrics display Japanese/English at the same time (sometimes filling up a lot of the screen!)

Comment:

Extras are: disc 1 ~ Witch Hunter Robin trailer, 2 ~ Please Teacher! trailer. I bought this set cuz I liked the cute character designs! The fact that this show is sooooo hilarious also helps a great deal!!! Buy it! Buy it NOW!!! I just wish that Ranpha was real *sigh*... Now I must get Galaxy Angel Z.
