FX did a great job with this set picture wise as is to be expected considering its length but still a good job no matter what the circumstances are. But perfect picture and that truly stands out.

Audio:

The English Audio was loud and clear and the Japanese audio sounded fine but I only checked it briefly.

Subtitle:

I didn?t notice the timing errors that other reviewers mentioned but than again I didn?t watch it with the Japanese audio.

Comment:

The set was perfect in every way but wasn?t a great addition to the hack project. It was a lot more light hearted and child like than Sign and its not even half as good in my opinion. But overall it was alright not a must buy but ok if you have nothing else to buy and you like the .hack project. But this series can funny at times depends on what your into I guess a serious atmosphere or more comedic. While it?s not something ill watch very often it was worth the $13-$14 dollars I paid.

The video in this series is great considering a rip. There are absolutely no sign of any pixelations of anything like that. Kudos to FX!

Audio:

No problems with audio tracks. They both sound good.

Subtitle:

I'm sorry FX. I just couldn't deal with the timings being off on the insert songs and themes. My friend said that it looked unprofessional, even though they are R1 rips.

Comment:

.hack//Legend of the Twilight is a great series. FX even includes the english credit endings for the 3 dvd volumes. Extras on the first disc include textless opening and closing themes, an art gallery that didn't work (but who actually cares about an art gallery anyways?), and more. Great FX release! Kudos to you FX!!

The video in this set was really great inspite of the weird distribution (4 one disc & 8 the other disc, I hate that kind of distribution). There is no pixelation even on the second disc wich has 8 episodes. Everything looked clean, very high dvd quality, and to top it off its in WIDESCREEN format. No skipping problems at all. REALLY GREAT!

Audio:

The audio was nothing less than prefect, two tracks, one english & one japanese, both in 5.1 stereo. There were no syncing problems, everything was right in time, even the music wich was great (although not as serious as hack//sign but just as good). It sounded clean, not one problem. PERFECTION!!!!

Subtitle:

The subs were good, regular R1 rip, no timing errors, no missing or drop lines, everything in sync, really good. Standard FX subs yellow with black around. REAL GOOD!

Comment:

There were various extras in both discs, 5 chapter breaks per episode (ope, partA,partB,preview, end). The menus look great. This series was really entertaining, real fun, is much more faster than hack//sign less serious but is really good, a lot like the PS2 games. This is a must have set with really great quality. HIghly Recomended !! Equipment used: APEX AD-1110W DVD, DAEWOO 20" TV

Great Video. Very few problems but nothing that ever took away from the series.

Audio:

Great in sync audio with dual language.

Subtitle:

Great Subs.

Comment:

This series is alot better than the original Hack//Sign. I do miss some of the old characters but the new crew are great. This story has a comedic, more video game like, and relaxed feel. The original series dragged on and was a bit dull, not to mention very little game moments like fighting. This game has some fighting, a great story, and comedy. This series does feel a bit kiddy but that is because the show is less complex and the main characters seem to be younger. They are small in the show because the contest designers gave these two people chibi like historic characters. Great buy in my opinion, if you liked Hack//Sign but wanted more comedy, action, and to be more video game like, this show is for you.

The video quality is very good, colors are bright and vivid. very little pixilization to be found on the two disks

Audio:

found no errors, music is a alot more lighthearted then the original .Hack series

Subtitle:

No problems with the Subs

Comment:

This series is alittle less depressing then the original .Hack series if not the music the episodes themselves, this series seems geared to a slightly younger audience then the one who might of loved the original series, not to take anything from the Twilight series itself. This series seems to take place after the events from the PS2 games for the series. An enjoyable series
