Overall:
Video:
Disc 1 contains eps 1-4, disc 2 contains eps 5-12. Video is presented in anamorphic widescsreen and looks really nice, very colourful. There is slight pixellation on very fast movement, which is more noticeable on the 2nd disc (and then it's mostly on the OP credits). Definitely looks like a DVD rip.
Audio:
The only audio track is Japanese stereo. There were no problems, except for a slight low hum throughout (but I was wearing headphones, so any little thing stands out!)
Subtitle:
Not perfect... the names are mostly correct (except for the maid, who is called Ma instead of Mea.) Everything else is understandable (the usual typos and wrong tenses) and timed correctly. I can't tell you if the Chinese subs are okay... they are just there.
Comment:
A surprisingly enjoyable little series. Who would've thought that travelling through time talking to dandelions could be so poignant! Watch it for the laconic maid, the great animation and the unnecessary nudity.
