could be perfect, but scrolling scenes have glitches...also, too bad for the nude scene editing in the second episode

Comment:
to tell the truth, I'm not happy...the atmosphere of this serie is quite childish, with flat characters and an easy plot...if Gundam and Z Gundam were sustained by such a simple and mindless plot, the gundam saga would never have attained a mythological status

Probably VCD rip, and a pretty good one at that.

Now, I'm not exactly sure which set I own. Import Anime shows the pretty much same cover scans for the MI, MAC, and AS sets, and the cover to my set is identical to those with the exception that "Original DVD Series" is not printed on the top border, the DVD logo is not on the top corner, the "OVA Series & Movie" tag is missing from the picture, and "Chinese/English Subtitle" is not on the bottom border. The only thing that remains are the actual cover art, the two titles going across the top of the picture, and the paragraph summarizing "Universal Century" (And, IMO, it looks best that way ^_^) My case has no studio logo on it, and I don't recall seeing any studio watermarks in the actual video. But the original 12 episodes and Miller's Report feature are still here, with the exception of the scene of Kiki bathing scene in episode two (which was completely cut from mine for some reason, and I've heard some bootlegs DO include that scene, which further confuses me...) All in all, this is one of the best HKDVD sets I own.

Decent set. While I cannot reccomend it above the excellent R1's it is still worth buying if your strapped for cash. Good video, subs, and sound. If you like Gundam OVA's with more plot over action then you will like this.

This set seems to be great! Some scenes have been edited out, but not to the extreme (nude Kiki). Video 4.5/5 Really good! No problems at all. Subs 3.5/5 Their okay, but not perfect. Some times it's not spoken English and some times the subs aren't actually what they say, but it's not much of a problem. The subs are sometimes off a bit and once or twice some lines are missing. Sound 5/5 No problems, sounds like a normal DVD. Overall 4.5/5 A really good set and probably one of the best HK DVD out there. It's a great series too! Although, unlike most Gundam Series, it focuses a lot less of the suits rather than the actually feeling of war. But it's great!
