The series itself is average. Nothing too spectacular but nothing crappy as well. As for the DVD, it has nice audio/video. BUT, the subs suck major time. You get timing faults, name changes, lousy translations,.. the lot! If you like phantasy titles (with magic, dragons,..etc) you might want to give it a try. But don't expext too much.

Video: 4.5 Video looks like a DVD rip. Some people would say its VCD quality but I think it's not. Picture pretty clear and no bluriness. Audio 4.0 : The sounds is pretty good. Nothing wrong with the audio. Subtitles: 2.5 This dvd, unless Animation Cartoon/ MI has a new version, is one of its older releases and the subtitle is not that good. It's one of those barely understandable English and the names are messed up. Orphen becomes Oufan and Cleo becomes Creo.
