I liked this series a lot. What is the rose bride ?? Utena will experience that the ring she has on her finger, will lead her to revolutionize the world. Two swords clashing between each other with the winner getting the rose bride. Interesting concept, everyone want the rose bride ??? For what purpose ??? It's really intriguing and the sword fight are really awseome to see. Highly recommanded

Before you read this review, I'd just like to say I own the entire Utena series on fansub, including this movie. I own every R1 DVD possible, also including the movie. And, one day, I said to myself "I wonder what the HK discs are like?". (I didn't really say that OUT LOUD to myself, as much as see them online, and purchase them) So, I bought the HK discs too. I am the biggest nerd anyone has ever met. Video-- (4.5/5) Very nice, indeed! Sometimes it got REALLY blurry, but it was pretty tolerable, all in all. Audio-- (5/5) No problems here! Pretty much perfect scoring, other than one scene where it dies for less than a second. (I am being REALLY nitpicky here. REALLY!) It also comes with a dub track! Subtitles-- (5/5) Excellent. No problems whatsoever! Content-- (5/5) Utena is one of my favorite anime serieses of all time, and the movie is equally good. Though, these discs were a waste of money for me, seeing as how I own the R1s, and this is a R1 rip, I would suggest this disc to anyone looking to save a little cash. *coughcheapskatecough*

I am only 1/2 way thru the 2nd disk, but here what i have so far: I'm having to watch dubbed version cuz of my neice..... They did a great job on the dubs - appears to be a direct R1 rip. No engrish at all. But every once in a while, what they say is a little mistimed. I am being **extremely** nitpicky on this point. It probably wasn't even worth mentioning, but i know how you guys like every tiny little detail! Video is excellent. No pixelation that I can see and only slightly fuzzy at times. Mostly happens during their fight scenes. Audio is very good too. I have no complaints on this one. It's a cool story and it's very well done ( especially for AS ). I'd definitely recommend this one. Can't wait til they finish up the series.

Revolutionary Girl Utena from AS is almost perfect, The disk comes in a double amray case with the art from CPM volume 1 release. The artwork on the first disk is the same as the cover and the second disc has the artwork from CPM volume 2 release. VIDEO: The video quality is very good and excellent for a HK dvd. There is no pixelation. The only slight problem is a tiny bit of grain in the picture. AUDIO: The audio is perfect there is a japanese and english track. SUBTITLES: The subtitles are a perfect region 1 rip. You can choose chinese,english or no subtitles. EXTRA NOTES: There are no extras presented on these disks, But despite that this is a very good buy and definatly well worth the price
