This set is D9/D5/D5 Picture just fine but it contain lot of pixelian,interace and very low bitrate

Audio:

Perfect in english and japanese I don't mind about fake or real DTS

Subtitle:

Pecfect R1 clone

Comment:

This set in MAC website said D9x3 but it's not real I feel like they lie us I think FX better than it, and I buy will this title again in FX

Video:

The episodes are distributed strangely on this set - 12/8/7. This does not mean that the video is poor quality though! In fact, it looks nearly perfect on this set (anamorphic widescreen - YAY!!) ~ just some light graining on fast action scenes. IMO, the worst was when Sumomo got electrocuted in the episode where they were doing the cleaning, but that wasn't excessive (see screenshots).

Audio:

You get the choice of Japanese 2.0 and 5.1 and English 2.0. They all sounded fine to me!

Subtitle:

There are 3 subs ~ English, Spanish and Chinese. BUT (and this loses .5), there isn't the lyrics/signs only sub from the R1s. That got me slightly miffed.

Comment:

The extras are just creditless, er... credits. No chibits, sadly. One annoying things is the lack of chapters on these discs ~ all you can do is go to the start of each episode. I was ever-so-slightly miffed by that oversight too! Oh yeah, and every time you go to the menu (which isn't anamorphic like the episodes) you always have to see the thing with Chi starting up. This could get annoying, because the episode selection is spread across different menu screens, mimicking the R1s. This is one of my fave series, ever since I watched the fansubs. So I'm really glad that overall this is a cracking good set in the most important areas ~ video and sound!
