If you have heard that they (the main characters) are ripping the clothes off elves, this is both true and misleading. This is one of the best series I have watched in recent years. With endless bookshelf space donated to Giant robots, DBZ, oppressed boys surrounded by girls that love or hate him, and girls that must save the world with there wide array of super powers it's nice to have something like "Those who hunt Elves" come along. It puts are three (and then four) heroes in a situation that to say the least is funny if not side splitting. We all have heard the tried oh line of "must save the world and to do so you (heros ) must search out such and such too bring eternal happiness" But "TWHE" takes the tried and true and adds a much pleasing twist. I don't want to ruin the show so I'll leave it at I wish Junpei would run into a few other animes and do what he does best. TWHE is a good combo of Slayers & Magic Knights Rayearth. I say this in that "TWHE" takes 3 people from modern day Japan (Just like M.K.R.) and throws them into a different world. Here is the slayers angle the world is more of the D&D type with spells, magic, and of course elves. Same type of humor as Slayers in that one very smart girl in the group, to one dumb (yet adapt to fighting and protecting) warrior, to finally the third character who adds depth and a goal to groups over all place in the show. Now as stated in the beginning yes they rip the clothes of elves, but if your looking for lots of boobies... search else where (I believe Ranma shows his breasts more in two episodes then you see in this whole series) This a great (short) series I really wish it was longer, but hey it's longer than Oh My Goddess. And since it is short (only 12 episodes) it doesn't hurt the bank account too much. Don't pass this one up it is sure to bring a smile to your face and your robot filled bookshelf.
