Video:
The video quality of Love Hina: Final Selection isn't as bad as I had anticipated. Although some of the colors did seem to be almost contrasted: many scenes appeared darker or duller than I expected them to be. Of course, you can't always get great lighting when filming a live performance with an almost blacked out auditorium, but the quality could be better. Slight bleeding, but overall, not too bad video wise.
Audio:
Great sounding music and vocals. For a live performance on DVD, this is about as good and as powerful as it gets. The songs are very well done, and every Japanese word is heard flawlessly. I didn't have to change the volume at all.

Sidenotes:
* Watch the Love Hina series first. If you LOVE it to death or are a hardcore fan of good anime J-Pop (specifically Horie Yui), consider buying this DVD. If your impression of it is any less, don't give it a second thought.
* A "slideshow/movie summary" of the show at the beginning of the DVD does little but introduce the characters to the audience. It was rather pointless in my point of view.
* Did anyone notice how many middle aged MEN are in the audience? Incredible! *laughs* =)
