There was some pixalation, noticable, but not enough to bother you. During the second part of disc two, the DVD stopped responding correctly to commands from my DVD player. I experimented around a bit, and it was not just a one-time fluke and not my DVD player either because disc three worked fine.

Overall, I really enjoyed this series. It has a really great plot and interesting characters, so you have to be careful not to marathon it. There are some spoilers in episode 0 so you might want to only watch it until the dream seer starts talking. The video does take a way from this set, so if you want it, you should go with the FX release. Definately a set worth owning, although it would have been much better if it was longer. (Isn't that the case with most anime, though?)
