Video:
Excellent Video,no problems whatsoever. Only the first episode-which introduces what the series is about etc-seems to have been recorded off a VHS tape oddly enough(First disc only thank god)
Audio:
No problems here either-It's not stereo just two channel mono, but it gets the job done just fine

Menu-Each disc has small clips of the ZZ gundam transforing and other stuff. You get three options:Play-Chapter-Subtitle,with the first opening song playing in the background(Anime na Jai) If you dont't do anything the DVD plays itself after a while Only the opening song is at the beginning of each disc and the ending song and episode preview at the end- All episodes themselves are divided into 'A' and 'B' parts(first half, second half) Ok so here are my impressions: A while back I Finished Zeta(The Limited Edition Box Set) And decided to follow it up with this set. I've actually had it for sometme now but hadn't watched it. Anyway I had gotten the "unoffcial" Zeta dvd set(before the limited one) and needless to say dissapointed with the sub quality. I did not actually finish it and never did again. Lets just say that the offical zeta set is way better that the "unoffical" one ever could be. Anyway this is supposed to be a review on ZZ gundam,so i'll get back on topic: Animation:I have to say depsite ZZ gundam's lighter tone,It actually looks much better than Zeta. Everything looks more consistent:mecha, characters etc. Music/Sound:Some are reused from Zeta, well as some original pieces. Sound effects are what you expect them to be,typical gundam sounds:) Overall I liked the music for the series epecially the second opening song-loved that very much. Overall: Even with it's somewhat lighter tone I still enjoyed ZZ gundam. There are deaths within the series, but don't expect much of that as with Zeta. Despite that it is a good gundam series even with those kids as the main characters. I'll be posting some box shots as well as some screenshots later. One more thing,if you can't wait for double zeta to come out as an official release, this is a good set to have,as I mentioned above. Now I'm off to watch Victory gundam! I'll do a review of that when i'm done:) Added Screenshots-you'll see step and pause in the upper left hand corner of all the screens;those remain there when I use them. Also I took these screenshots off my TV that's why some look off center...as well as a lot of them having somewhat fuzzy quality..but it should give you a good idea of what the show is like.
