Both DVD's: Pretty good TV rip, no pixellation detected, however, there were some grainy scene during episode 11 whenever Rosette was driving a motorcycle and on some action sequence but it's pretty insignificant compared to the rest There were some shadows on the opening and ending credit so you can see the japanese symbol appearing twice side by side which made it obvious that it was a TV rip I liked the graphic of Chrnno Crusade very much. They recreated the enviroment of the 1920's like the mafia's car, the people clothes, the building and the weapons (like a tommygun). Way awseome to see.

No problem found. The opening "Pleasure Lines" is a very good song

1rst DVD: Fansub quality The character's name were right except in some places it was mispelled like Chrno = Chmo (episode 1) Azmaria = Asmaria (from Episode 1 to 4, but they sound the same) Rizel was Riziel in two spot (Episode 8 and 13) Some mispelled words like mill = will, pramise = promise, Magdalene = Madgalele but no big deal The translation from Japanese to English was awseome, no engrishy phrase, a few of them were missing a word but no big deal 1 missing subline on Episode 3 The subtiming was good, in some places, it was late by 3 seconds but it wasn't frequent There were missing some ! and ? in some phrase but the ponctuation/syntax was very good 2nd DVD: Fansub quality also Azmaria name was sometimes mispelled like Azamaria, Azmara, Asmaria Rosette was written Orsette in Episode 13 The major problem with Part 1 is on Episode 7 were the subtiming is off in many place by 3-5 seconds and the text was not at the right place at the right time (it's not a subtiming problem), it seem that the text were mixed at some place so a phrase that was supposed to appear at the bottom of the TV screen was somtimes showned 1 to 3 sentences later. Like the 1rst DVD, some phrase were missing the ! or the ? symbol at the end of the phrase Some mispelled words by one letter, translation from Japanese to English excellent, one word missing in some phrase Overall, awseome sub except for Episode 7

I though it was a great anime, it's only Part 1 of course but the show shows great promise Here's a little recap of some of the Chrno Crusader character Sister Rosette Christopher: A short temper girl whenever she gets teased by the others, she drives like a lunatic and ends up trashing the car. She made a contract with Chrno so whenever he uses his power, Rosette lifespan diminished. She tends to screw up her mission so Sister Kate (the head mistress of the Maria Magdalene foundation) always scold her. She knows how to use a gun, she likes to teased Chrno and whenever she tries to do something good, it turns out to be something bad at the end. She has a brother named Joshua who's missing for the past 3 years Chrono: a demon from the dark world. He had a mysterious relationship with Aion in the past. His powers are sealed inside a talisman who is around Rosette necks. Whenever Rosette is in trouble or near death, he unleach his full power to protect her at any cost. He assist Rosette in her mission so he tries his best not to piss or get in Rosette ways. His real form is way cool to see, it reminds me of Keisuke from Soultaker Azmaria Hendrik: She's one of the 7 Apostle who create miracle whenever she goes. When she sings, she healed he people around her. A shy girl who's clutsy at times, Aion tries to capture her but with Rosette help, who know's what will happen to her. Her holy magic can have an negative effect on Chrno so whenever she tries to help on in the battle, she can actually hits her own partner HAHAHAHAHA Satella Havenheit is by far the best character of Chrono Crusade, she can summons Jewel monster to aid her when facing a beast. She can summon a spirit knight (like the summon Knight Of the Round in Final Fantasy 7) and other creature with her jewel on her wrist. She's german so whenever she commands her beast to do her bidding, she tells her command in German, way cool. She likes to have an argument with Rosette who's jealous of her. Her family runs a guild so she's rich to the bones so money is not a problem to her, her clothing is very expensive and she likes to flash around Rosette making fun of her because she is a sister. Chrno Crusade has a similarity with Helsing ( the anime ), Rosette uses her holy bullets to vainquish powerfull beasts (there are no blood sucking in it) like Arucard. The enemy's kind of reminds me of Ninja Scroll TV. One of them could manipulated the person by implating a needle in the back of his neck. Some of the fighting are cool to see, Azmaria uses her divine seal to repel the living death demon, Rosette uses her double gun technique to raise hell everywhere, Satella uses her jewel magic to crush anybody in her path and Chrno goes on a rampage whenever he transform into in real body. The mission are fun to see, Rosette can screw up anytime and who knows what the damage extent that Rosette and Chrno can do at the end. The mission are kind of like Hellsing but with more character's involved in it Overall, if you liked Hellsing, you'll liked Chrno Crusade, give it a try, you'll liked a lot HIGHLY RECOMMANDED I wonder why they didn't make 3 DVD's for all 26 episodes instead of 4 (Part 1, 2 and Part 2, 2), Extras: None, Zero, Zilch Packaging: Clockwise from the top: Satella, Chrno, Azmaria and Rosette, I liked the interior design with Rosette and Chrno on the cover of the first DVD and a sexy shot of Rosette on the second one Please take note that it's a MI rip
