Video:
This movie is quite old. (I think it was first made in 1988). But, even though it's old and grainy, it is a perfect conversion to DVD. Perfect!
Audio:
I loved the dubbing on this. The Seiyuu weren't too bad either. The sound quality was perfect as well. Once again, this moive is quite old, so it's not up to snuff with the other DVDs out there.

Comment:
I cried at the end of this movie. It's nice ot see a movie about a war from the perspective of the 'enemy'. It seriously felt bad when the airbombs attacked. There were several scenes that were burned into my head for weeks afterward.
One thing I thought was noteworthy was the use of common, everyday things. Like, when he asks his little sister if she has to pee. It seems silly, but adds an unprecedented level of realism.
I think everyone should watch this movie. If you haven't seen it, get it NOW! You won't be upset.
