Wonderful set. My set came in a normal DVD case, so I was happy about that as it fits well with my collection of R1 releases. Great job FX, I look forward to more of your releases in the future.

Wow. That's all I have to say. The video quality was virtually picture perfect (except I noticed a stutter on episode 9... which may just be from my set) ... this was really one of the finest rips I've ever seen. The art is simply wonderful in Someday's Dreamers and this set shows it off in flying colors. Awesome FX.

Very good here too. The audio sounds perfect and is totally in sync with the anime. I listened mainly to the Japanese dub, but the English dub was great too (during the times that I heard it). Both dubs are equal in volume (which is a plus when switching back and forth), and both tracks are perfectly clear. Amazing.

Sidenotes: * Some people may wonder how you access the scene selections of episodes 5-8 of disk 1. When you select "Scene Selection" on the first disk, you see and access the different scenes of episodes 1 through 4. In order to see the scenes of 5-8, simply go down until you highlight the left shell (right next to [ Ep. 1 ]. Click [Enter] or [OK] and scenes for 5-8 will show up. To go back to scenes for 1-4, just do the same, except highlight the shell to the right instead. =) * I think this may be the first perfect score I've given to date. That alone should show you how wonderful I think this anime set is. Someday's Dreamers is a great anime about a mage named Yume who goes to Tokyo as an apprentice. There, she will learn many lessons, meet many interesting friends and encounter many different stories along the way. A story for softies in a way, Someday's Dreamers mixes in innocense with a little bit of magic to create a wonderful story. The series is short, and you may feel like so much more could've happened if it were longer, but the series itself is one worth buying. =)

Really good video. Once or twice during moving shots, it gets kinda blurred like it's moving too fast. But only happens for a second.

Menu breakdown are standard opening, part a, part b, and previews. it was weird because you can do chapter selection for the first 4 episodes in the first disk but i don't know how you get to the rest. i bet there's a tiny button you can click there somewhere but i just missed it. kinda annoying setup. the series itself is one of those cute, sentimental, hopeful series. nice pace, relaxing. didn't really think there were funny parts... for kids (especially girls) as well as adults but hint of bi/gay in first episode. nice series to see, but i've seen better.
