Video:

This is a laser disc rip-the video is fairly clean, it's very soft but little or no macroblocking, colors are good without being overly saturated.

Audio:

Good basic stereo, no hissing or distortion that I could detect-I love the opening theme!!

Subtitle:

These are fan sub based-very nearly perfect-just some very minor timeing issues-NO ENGRISH HERE! However on discs 3 & 4 there are some missing subs lines-but not enough to seriously deter understanding what's going on.

Comment:

This is a controversial series-gender bending, lesbianism, fetishism, but it's damn good shojo, it ends Sailor Moon with a big bang the way the series deserves. It'll never be shown on us tv so unless you want to buy R2 dvds or go with fansubs this is the set to buy.

This DVD-set has an amazing quality! No pixellation in even highlevel actionscenes!

Good audio, could be a R2 rip.

Subtitle:

All names are spelled right, no timing errors. So far ( I watched already 3 of the 4 discs) only one missing subtitle-line during the opening.

Comment:

This set is a deluxe box and has great artwork inside and on the dvds themselves. The menues are different on each dvd and thery're always great. In front of every single episode there's the Opening "Makenai!" (the greatest of all SM-Songs!) and afterwards there's always an ending. It's great to hear the japanese voices, they fit the characters so well! I REALLY love this set, believe me! I highly recommend this item!
