Video:

Not perfect, is has some film artifacts (white hair scratches) here and there, but that's to be expected on an old anime like this. Only noticed about 2 seconds of pixellation at the start of one episode.

Audio:

Can't complain, Dolby 2.0 sound. Wasn't really bothered about the lack of Japanese audio, but the option would have been nice. It's only for 13 episodes the rest of the MAC sets have the Japanese track, so you can switch after that.

Subtitle:

Nice and clear, but since there is only english audio, they're just dubtitles. There are some Spanish subs on the movie, but I didn't look at them. Useful if your deaf I suppose.

Comment:

The only thing that isn't listed in the item description is that on disc two it also has Dragonball Movie 1: Curse of the Blood Rubies, it's only 45 minutes long, but a nice addition. The box itself is nice and detailed, standard gatefold style with plastic enclosure. The front has collection of characters, the back has some screenshots and an episode listing. Disc one has a drawing of goku with his powerpole fighting yamcha. Disc two has a drawing of goku and the dragon. Overall it's a nice set if you don't mind watching the dubbed version. If you've watched DBZ before and wondered if Dragonball was any good, get this set and check it out, even if you don't like it, it's only $14.

Video:

Video was great, except for the magical flower that seemed to cover goku up every time he took off his clothes. There were other additions to cover up panties and such.

Audio:

Audio for the most part was good, but you are stuck with the english dub. Goku sounds like gohan from english DBZ version.

Subtitle:

These subtitles were more like Closed Captions, displaying noises and various captions and sound effects(ex: (Bulma: screams)) 1 or 2 lines an episode were missing also.

Comment:

Its kind of sad to watch these episodes knowing they are edited, I have watched the originals before and it does take away some of the magic.

Video:

Considering it is an old show, the video is okay.

Audio:

Nothing to say either.

Subtitle:

Since it is dubbed... it is quite irrelevant but still the subs are there.

Comment:

Well I AM disapointed since it is the censored version. DUB + CENSORED = an unhappy anime fan. I am ready to buy another version as soon as it's out.
