Video:

The video was pretty weird in Part 2 of Gets Backers 1rst DVD: Exactly like part 1 as a feared, a TV rip with vertical lines showing in each episode, pixellated during some fight scene especially on the opening sequence like Akabane fighting Ginji. No microblocking but the vertical lines were ruinning the mood of the show 2nd DVD: The first two episodes were like the 1rst DVD but suprise surprise, the TV rip gets better and better, there were still vertical lines but it's not showing much now, great improvement 3rd DVD: The vertical lines are almost gone but the part part about the 3rd DVD is that the screen was blacker than usual for example, on the opening sequence, Mido and Amano's face in the background was completely black and some fight scene involving Ban and Fudo was too dark to my taste, I couln't really tell the movement of the character. Overall, could be better

(Check GB Part 1 (AV) that I reviewed a while back) The subs are exactly like Part 1, the phrase were not constructed right, some of them were missing a word (incomplete), some of them had the wrong verb, some had the wrong gender, instead of saying she, it's was a he and vice versa The character name's are exactly like Part 1, some of the new name were wrong like Masaki Cruz was Masaki Kurusu Kaoru Ujjie (I'm not sure about this one cause Ujiie could be also Yuji) Once again, they put the character family name instead of their first name, goddamn annoying. Ponctuation/syntax is okay Overall, like Part 1

Part 2 of Get Backers was probably the funniest one I've seen to date Episode 25 is a couple of thieves that steal jewelry in hotspring resort. Ban, Ginji, Hevn and Natsume goes to investigate. Hevn bracelet gets stolen then they find out that the thieves are monkeys so they go after them but the monkeys had prepare traps for them. A classic Episode 26 is about a stolen briefcase, a young girl is a witnesses but refuse to tell where it is so Ban and Ginji buys things for her so she can talk but she wants the most expensive stuff so she can talk, poor guys Himiko and Akabane are back, Himiko has a score to settle with Kaoru and Akabane wants to fight Ban when he is serious and Ginji's other self Ray, the lightning king. Hard to say if Akabane is a good or a bad guys but I like him a lot. The mission were almost like Part 1, but funnier. Ginji is in a hospital after dropping a building when his riceball fall off the roof, everybody visits him then hell broke loose at the hospital when all of them goes there seperate ways to help the nurses from the evil head nurse and jealousy start to rise The fighting were good, like Part 1, Mido against Akabane were the best when both of them are fighting seriously were awseome to see. The ending was okay but the final showdown was dissapointing. Overall, Part 2 was better than Part 1 (but not that much), get the MI version, cause the video is not that great.
