Awesome. Story wise you must be prepared for surprises , tragic scene and at times 'emotional' and this set contained many bloody scenes and actions too. The finale was something I was taken aback though. Overall, the best. Hoped to see more charpters for WR if any in future... If your fan of WR , it' s worth buying and added to your WR's collection.

R2 DVD quality, no pixellation, no blurry or grainy scene. Simply awseome, the graphic looks even better than Wolf's Rain the TV series. The OAV was made near the end of 2003 and believe me, the last few minutes of the last episode are simply something to see, simply mind-blowing.

No problem detected, the opening Stray still rocks

Firstly, I'd like to say that these are the best 4 episodes i've seen in a LONG LONG time. Every episodes were full of surprised and unpredictible. I couldn't believe it how fast the episode were going Every episode has a tragic ending in it. Like in episode 1, you might remember Aeris final resting place in the City of Ancients in the game Final Fantasy VII (Playstation) well, there is a scene exactly like that AHHHH it bring back good memory. Wolf's Rain OAV was pretty bloody especially when Darcia was attacking Kiba and the gang, there were a lot of biting, gunshot firing and you can see there were pools of blood everywhere, not a pretty sight to see. Episode 27 to 30 were pretty good. On episode 27 and 28, they (Kiba, Toboe, Hige, Tsume, Chize Hubb, Cher, Blue and Yaiden) travels in the desert by car with Hige and Yaiden injured, He (Yaiden) still has a problem with wolves especially the one who has a gold eye. A earthquake starts which send the car off a cliff (because of the weight of it), great character's development after that (Kiba-Chize, Blue-Yaiden-Hige). Then on Episode 29-30, Darcia shows up and all hell breaks loose, the killing spree start, (I won't tell you more than this :-) ). In order to comprehend these episode, watch the TV series and you'll get the idea of what I'm talking about. The final showdown was awseome between Kiba and Darcia with Chize and paradise at stake. The ending of it was pretty jaw-dropping, I couldn't believe it for a second. There is a lot of tragic moment and sad scene in it. It was tragedy after tragedy after tragedy, Wolf's Rain OAV completely took me by surprised. Overall, THIS IS A MUST BUY, this was worth the 20$ CAD I spend for it, it was truly awesome and totally unpredictabled, the OAV last 1 hours 32 minutes (4 episodes) and it's worth every pennie of it. Like I said the first time, these are the best 4 episodes i've seen in a while (sorry for the repeating but there are no word to describe it better). If you haven't seen the TV serie, get it first then watch the OAV since it's episode 27 to 30 (the TV series (26 episodes) is continued in the OAV). If you don't like seeing a lot of blood keep away from it. If you have the TV series then get the OAV cause I really really really liked it. it is HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMANDED Extras: None Packaging: Downward, Kiba holding Chize Middle, Chize (left) and Kiba (right) Upward, Darcia I like the chrome color they use for the cover, awseome
