All 3 DVD's: bad TV rip, especially episode 6 were you could see the shadow of the character fairly easily, there were little pixellation in it especially when Ginji becomes a human electrifier and some battle involving Shido and Ginji on the 3rd DVD. Vertical line were appearing in almost every episode, Episode 1-5 were okay but after that, it wasn't as bad as Episode 6, but seeing double or triple the shadows in it. It was getting annoying after that. There were no macroblocking in it. Hope the second set is better than that

I really enjoyed Get Backers a lot, some parts were funny as hell. But the fighting were really somethin to see in it Here's some character's list (not all cause i'll be too long to write) Ginji Amano: the former leader of VOLTS, his entire body can absorb the electricity around him and use it as lighting attack against his opponent, he gets badmouth by Ban for rushing too much in the action. He doesn't feel comfortable when Akabane is around him. He gets treated like a kid by many people which irritates him a lot. Ban Mido: One of the best fighter around, his snake fangs technique can paralize or kill you in a instant (if he grab your spine, it's all over). His lethal attack is Vicious Eyes, his opponent can't detect if he's watching reality or a dream, he might kill Ban but in reality, he didn't kill him at all, he can fool you pretty easily with it. However he can use it only 3 times a day or his body might not survive after that. He mostly boss around Ginji but he really cares about his partner HEVN: The agent/secretary of Get Backers, she looks like Jura from Vandread with her big boobs (bouncy, bouncy), she's the one who gets jobs for them however, it's the guys who talks cash after that. She loves teasing man's with her looks. She's also the one who recruits new members for them but I don't they will enjoying old enemies joinning them. Almost woethless in battle, but she got the brain and beauty (thank you gods) Himiko: A childhood friend of Ban, she blamed Ban because he killed her brother and wants to take revenge for it. She attacks with 7 kind of perfume, if the opponent smells in or inhale it, he can either turn him into a monkey or kill him on the spot. She can inhale or drink it and use it as a flamethrower on it. Her feelings toward Ban hasn't change until they finally meet once again. Her codename: Lady Poison Akabane: My favorite character of the anime, his look is almost the same as Alucard from Hellsing and his personnality is exactly the same as Xellos in Slayers. He can toy with you at first, but once he gets mad, he can raise hell everywhere. His codename is Jackal, he uses surgeon knife toward his opponent, he moves really fast that you can't see him in the naked eyes, he hides his knifes in his entire body, so if he is in a good mood, he might spare your life or not. He likes teasing people especially Ginji cause he got a creepy atmosphere surrounding him. He's very intelligent and he considerate the stronger fighter with Ban. Shido: Another former member of Volts, he is a beast trainer so whenever he gets into trouble (or sturb it), he called differents animal to do his job from a lion to a elephant, nobody disturbs the wildlife after that Futoin: Another former member of Volts, he uses thin nylon lines to wrap him up like a mummy or stangle him to dead. He looks like a girl but in reality, he is a man. Crap, my dreams were destroyed after that. There were some hilarious scene in it especially when Ban car's get towed away HAHAHAHA, that was funny to see, also the mini sized Ginji figurine whenever he's frighten by Akabane (like Shuichi in Gravitation), never laught this much in a while. Some fighting scene were awseome to watch especially Akabane and Ginji in his king Rei form, quite cool to see The showdown Ban/Ginji and Himiko/Akabane was also cool to watch it One thing I enjoyed with Ban is that you don't know if his opponent is seeing is a dream or reality, he fooled me a lot with his Vicious Eyes, quite unpredictable. You'll be fooled also Makubex storyline was really cool, with his computer he can infiltrate everywhere he desire like Lain in Serial Experiment Lain. He creates virtual places so his follower and the Get Backers can fight without interruption, his power is absolute questioning him is a waste a time or a waste of life. In the 3rd DVD, every episode involves in the fighting scene and Makubex slowly waiting for the final showdown with Ginji.
