Video:

Picture is clear, and colors are a little muted. This is only 1/2 a step (at most) below the official US release DVDs.Overall very good.

Audio:

Sound is very low, particularly during opening songs...but it is tolerable. Just lower the volume when you switch back to the TV.

Subtitle:

Very Good, they are the exact subs from the official US release DVDs. The subs on the US DVDs however were odd in the way they dealt with names. Mamo-chan became just Mamo, but Mako-chan stayed Mako-chan. That is all that is wrong with them, and that is very forgivable. No Engrish or Nihonglish here.

Very good set. Sold my used official US release DVDs on eBay for more than I paid for these new and I don't regret it at all.
