R2 DVD quality, no pixellation, grainy or blurry scene. Kurohime was done near the end of 2003 and it shows right away. I like the character's design in it especially the naked body, reminds me of Dark Shell I reviewed yesterday. Kurohime is censored with mosaic in it. It's not released yet as a R1 so don't look for an uncensored version for now. Overall, great graphic

Kurohime was good near the first 45 minutes then after that the storyline tends to be lacking at the end. THEY MADE IT TO SHORT. They could have easily streched the storyline to at least 4 episodes but guess, they were out of ideas at the end. The storyline was good with 7 persons trapped inside the mansion and who knows what were lurking in it. Screams erupt out of nowhere and everybody tries to find where it comes from The owner of the mansion has 2 executionners (sex slave with leather masked) and they had a lot of fun raping the girl until her sexual appetite arise within her. Cool idea but it falls flat at the end The ending is a little hard to understand. When Kurohime is over, there are LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of unanswered question at the end. Who were the executionner, why is this girl still alive, why is she there now ect.. ect.. ect... Good luck finding the answer to all of them cause it will confuse you greatly. I'm still try to figure out the meaning of the ending, I got a vague idea but who knows the real truth behind it. One thing that the storyline was lacking was the character's past and relationship like in the opening sequence, you see Saki and Yukari (both are girls) kissing each other in the boat but after that, they don't say why they are together and how it started ect.. Seiya past also should have been displayed, she was the most interesting girl to follow, you knows what goes throught her head in the mansion, the screaming, the pain and the agony she hears, could be music to her ears.
