Both DVD, TV rip, no pixellation, blurry or grainy scene. The graphic are not crisp and sharp as the DVD rip (because it's a TV rip). In episode 6, there is 5-10 seconds were there are no color on the screen and then the colors reappears. Both DVD has some scene were it is more darker in some place than in other. Too bad it's not a DVD rip because I like the character's design.

I got to say that the opening of Shingetsutan Tsukihime '' Sacred Moon '' is awseome. I can't get this song out my head with the gospel and the eerie music in the background. I found no problem with the sound in it.

One word describes Shingetsutan Tsukihime: Excellent This is only Part 1 of it and quite franckly I can't wait for the second part because it's so good The storyline really gets you going from the start of the 1rst episode. This anime is more about mystery and findind the key to the riddle that surround Shiki and the Tohno family. There is not much fighting in it, but Arcueid really gives a hell of a beating to the blood-sucking vampires. Shingetsutan Tsukihime is one of a kind. It's like Hellsing but way better than that. The music really gets you in the mood of the mysteries that lurks in the night. All of the character were interesting and mysterious for example: Ciel: She's Shiki sempai but he doesn't remember her when they met at school, she tries to get close to him but for what purpose ??? Within her, she has a dark past and to atone from her sin, she tracks the roots of all evil: Roa. She got like a double personnality and who knows what she'll do next. Arcueid Brunestud: The lovely lady with the short blond-haired. Shiki dismembers her but she comes back to life. She acts more like a little kid than a grown-up. She's interested in Shiki right from the start but there seem to have some secret that she won't reveil to him. Is she really a princess that hates to drink blood ??? Wherever she goes, all the boys turns head to her especially when she goes to Shiki's school HAHAHAHA. I love her character Akiha Tohno: Shiki's sister, she hides the truth to him because she doesn't want him to suffer more than he suffered in the past. When she met Ciel for the first time, she hates her even do they never talked to each other. The Tohno are full of secret and whenever Shiki asked is what he saw was a dream or reality, Akiha tells him that it's only a dream. She's probably the most interesting person in Shingetsutan Tsukihime because she has more mystery than any of the other character of the anime. Her scene in the bedroom with Husui in Episode 8 really stirs thing for Shiki Kohaku and Husui (the twins sister and the maids of the Tohno mansion): They tried to hide the truth from Shiki about the Tohno families secret, they do a good job of it at the beginning but who knows if they'll last this charade for long. Akiha trust both of them and doesn't really question them whenever they talk to Shiki. They served Shiki and Akiha the best way they can but who knows what's going on in their head, and who know what the'll do next ??? When watching all 12 episode on it, you won't be bored because it's mystery after mystery. The fighting scene were great to see. Arcueid battles a couple of vampire dogs and with one swoop, they are send flying in the air and crashed in a wall of brick then disegrating right away. Shiki's with is pocket knives is fun to watch, he takes his glasses off, see ''the lines'' and start slashing at the opponent. Way cool idea to fight someone especially if the weapon is a pocket knive. Overall, Shingetsutan Tsukihime is A MUST BUY, the AV and MI version are the same thing so once you see it on sale somewhere, get it. With the secret, mystery, hidden past, all 12 episodes will go very fast and you'll ask for Part 2 once it's out.
