1rst and 2nd DVD, 4/5: Very good TV rip. There are some pixellation and some grainy scene during some fight scene on the 1rst DVD especially the fight between Shannon and Chris on episode 1 and 4. No blurry scene, Scrapped Princess was made in 2002 so the graphic are really amazing especially during fighting sequence. 3rd DVD: 4,5/5 Episode 17-20: R2 DVD rip, no pixellation, grainy or blurry scene Episode 21-24: Very good TV rip
Audio:
No problem detected, I love the ending song Daichi No La-Li-La very much because it's made by Oranges and Lemon, the same people that did the opening and ending song of Azumanga Daioh. Damn, I love them.

1rst DVD, 3,5/5 Some of character's names were wrong but they do sound alike like: Pacifica: Pashihuxika Shannon: Shanonn Raquel: Rakuweru Leo: Reo Zefiris: Zehuxirisu Winia: Uiniya Christoper: Krisutoferu Mauser: Mauzer Perkins: Perukinsu A couple of mispelled word, the translation from Japanese to english is okay but not great. A couple of phrases were not translated properly but it was understandable. They actually translated Scrapped Princess for Abandon princess on the opening sequence. Most phrases were missing a word, but it's easy to guess it. The gender is some subline were mixup like in Episode 4, where Zefiris tells Shannon that he will make a good wife. But, Shannon is a guy so it should have been a good husband. They sometimes mixed some verb like instead of I, it's "you" or "He" is "She". The ponctuation and syntax are great. 2nd DVD:4,5/5 Fansubs quality. Pacifica, Christopher, Zefiris and Mauser are translated right Perkins is mispelled Perukinsu. 5 mispelled words in all. The translation from Japanese to English is excellent. And yes, Scrapped Princess is still translated as Abandon Princess. Ponctuation and Syntax is better than the 1rst DVD. 3rd DVD:4,75/5 Better than the first one, Scrapped Princess is finally translated right, Shannon, Winia and Raquel name are translated right from Episode 17 to 20 but after Episode 21, they are translated like the first DVD. 2 mispelled words, ponctuation and syntax are great. Translation from Japanese to English is like the 2nd DVD, excellent.
Comment:
The storyline goes like this: " In the 5111st Saint-Grendel oracle, a girl's fate is decided. When she reached her 16th birthday, they say that she will bring total destruction/annihilation of planet earth. The girl named is Pacifica Kasur. She is called the Scrapped Princess because she is a marked girl all around Japan. Pacifica is protected by her guardian Shannon, a swordman and Raquel, a magic user's who swore to her parents to protect her until the end. A religious group called Mauser were given the task to eliminate Pacifica before she reached 16. However, it seems that the human race is not the only race that wants her death. The Peace Keepers a.k.a the Gods are also after her life for different reason than that. Pacifica will meet many people during her trip hovewer are there friend or foe??? Will she bring total destruction on the 16?? Why are the gods after her life?? Will people recognize her as the Scrapped Princess when they first lays eyes on her ??? " Now that's what I called an interesting story, the action takes place in the mediaval timeline where King rules and religious group cause mayhem around the country. Can't ask more than that. There are many funny spot in Scrapped Princess like in Episode 1, Leo tries to help Pacifica and her guardians during a fight, he tries to stop his horses but he can't and he ends up crashing in a barn yard HAHAHAHAHA. In another one, the gang tries Pacifica's cooking, it tastes so bad that everybody almost throws up. There are more hilarious scene like the one when Leo tries a dinosaur costume during a theater play. Funny as hell. Raquel is one of my favorite character in the anime. She's sexy as hell, but very dangerous if you get near Pacifica. Shannon always irritates Pacifica and she ends beating him to a bloody pulp. Leo wants to be knight and protect the girl he loves (Pacifica) but he fails miserably. Chris is coldblooded guy that wants Pacifica head on a silver plater but he has doubt against the oracle, Winia loves Chris but he ignores her.Seinass has a reputation of being the beast woman HAHAHAHAHAHA, that segment was funny. So overall, all the character's are really interesting to discover including the gods like Steiya and shissu (Habba Habba). The battle agaisnt the Gods were awseome. They can transform into awseome fighting machine (reminds me of the D1 in Rahxephon) so Shannon fuses with Zefiris, an entity from another galaxy, into a giant black dragon (like Escaflowne the anime). These are probably the best fighting scene i've seen since Raxhephon. It's worth watching it. The last two episodes of the series was awseome. The ending was so funny that I laughed again everytime I think about it. The final showdown was cool, with Shannon and Sainess against the gods. The last moment of Episode 23 is worth the money for it. In conclusion, THIS IS A MUST BUY, a good sub, a great storyline, interesting character, can't ask for more than that HIGHLY RECOMMANDED Extras: None Packaging: Nice cover with all the essential character of the serie 1rst row: Pacifica 2nd row: Shannon and Raquel 3rd row: Zefiris and Chris Last row: Leo and Winia
