Video is good overall considering the age of anime. The video is slightly worse on disc one, that's to be expected since there's 15 episodes on it! They are all R1 rips though.
Audio:
English track was fine, Dolby 2.0. Japanese track was listed as Dolby 2.0, but it's obvious it's mono sound, and since the anime is from the 1980's that's hardly surprising.

The box itself is nice and small, this was my first 5 disc set so i wasn't sure what to expect. it's the same size as a two disc set, but obviously wider. I believe the first review mentioned the stupid mistakes on the box, the pictures are from the right saga's the writing isn't however. I hope MAC sorts this out before there next shipment. This set is listed as Tournament Saga which is uncorrect, Disc 1 has the entire Tournament Saga on it (15 episodes). Disc 2 has the first 8 episodes of the Red Ribbon Army Saga . Disc 3 has rest of the Red Ribbon Army Saga (9 episodes). Disc 4 has the General Blue Saga on it (12 episodes). Disc 5 has the Commander Red Saga on it (10 episodes). The menu is great, nice, simple and quick. The only problem with it was that you could only choose between having japanese audio with japanese translation subs, or english audio with dubtitles. I would have liked the option of english with japanese translation subs. If you play the dvd's on your pc with PowerDVD this is possible though. My last problem with this set is the chapters. For the first several episodes of disc one they are very good with chapter points at the end of the opening titles, giving the option of quickly skipping them. After that there are only chapters at the start of each episode (before the opening title), which means having to use fast forward everytime you want to skip the opening theme. This is only a minor problem though, but still annoying. Overall the set was good to watch, i've only seen upto episode 45 of Dragonball before so it was good to see past that. If you're a fan of Dragonball and not bothered about the text on the box being messed up or any of the other stuff, then buy this set, i don't regret buying it, it's worth the money.

Actually really good, a whopping 6 hours on the first disk with only a little bit of pixelization is a great feat.
Audio:
Audio was good. I watched with the japanese audio. I did check the english dub every once in a while, it sounded louder and more clear then the japanese track, but a lot of the dialogue was different and toned down.

Great set. Pakaging was good with an episode guide on the case, only problem is that the saga didn't end and viewers are left waiting for the next set to see the ending.

The video is awesome considering the age of the show !
Audio:
Japanese audio is not in Dolby Surround (this is what's written at the back of the boxset) but in mono. The english dub seems to be in real stereo though.

Of course this series is quite old, but taking that into account, I must say the video quality is very good. There is some pixilation, but that is probley because MAC managed to squeeze 15 episodes into the first disk! The pixilation does not really stand out much at all, because this series is old and has a good amount of natural "grain" to the video.

Now the box is the biggest problem of the set. Standard MAC gatefold, with nice scans of the R1 covers in the background sporting the following texts: Cover: Tournament Saga Part 2 Back and Side: King Piccolo Saga Part 2 Inside1: Red Ribbon Saga Part 2 Inside2: Tournament Saga Part 2 Inside3: Commander Red Part 2 Inside4: General Blue Part 2 Inside5: Tournament Saga Part 2 All disks: King Piccolo Saga Part 2 Other than those rather annoying screwups, the box is nice. One of the inside folds includes a complete episode list (in tiny tiny text) that is rather neet. MAC really needs someone who knows english on their team.
