Blech... you can definitely tell this is one of FX's early releases. While it's still watchable (especially for the price you pay), the pixelation is noticeable whenever any kind of rapid movement, spell, or action is going on. This is a very colorful show, however, which likely makes the pixelation even more noticeable than in most other shows.
Audio:
No complaints here. Both the japanese and english tracks sound good, and the volume levels are consistent. Being that the show is older, it doesn't have the same punch as today's standards, however, the transfer is as good as it gets based on the source.

Comment:
The Slayers series continues with a thoroughly entertaining follow-up to the first season. I may have even ended up getting more into Slayers Next than the previous season by the time I was on the last episodes. Cameos all around, with the vast majority of characters returning for round two. Great, great, great addition to anyones' collection, especially if you enjoy action/comedy/swords and fantasy shows.
Highly Recommended.
