Dammit, why can't MI continue with those good TV rips? This was VERY VERY grainy and dull, with lots of fizzy lines running across the screen. It would have been acceptable had the show been a fraction decent.... but no such luck. Horrible TV rip, but it figures all the openings and endings are intact for this piece of garbage, and not something which really needs them, like Hikaru no Go. Oh, and the colors seem a little dull too, although this appears to be a newer anime. Colors don't seem vibrant, but more faded. it might be intentional, but it doesn't look good. It just makes the show look really old, although its rather new.

Packaging: C- Well, it looks better as a small thumbnail at a store. It's a picture (very grainy) of one of the girls turning around and looking at you, half smiling. It's says "D.C." by her said and an "Episode 1" at the bottom (did they mean 'volume'? This has 1-4...). Menus: A- Unfortunantly, the menu looks really good (why? why couldn't it be for a GOOD show?! Argh..) but the opening and ending themes are very generic and crappy, so you have to sit through those. I'm sure the same basic layout will be reused, so I hope a good menu wasn't wasted on this crap. Content: (could you not tell I hated it?) F Oh god, this could've had really really really great potential for an action/adventure sort of series about a boy who sees other people's dreams, but instead it gets turned into a HORRIBLE wannabe comedy thing. A boy and his sister (not by blood) go to school and another girl comes along (who calls him 'brother', but I don't think they're related....) and oh man..... It tries to pull of chibis and other hyper type movements, but they just look pathetic and akward. For example, one time the boy and girl were surprised, so they do this thing which looks like they're trying to shoo a fly with both hands, exactly in synch with each other, and it continues for half a minute and they just keep talking with the hand motion. When I watched it I though 'Are you freakin' kidding me?!' I forced myself to watch episode 1 (for some reason, it's boring and plain ending theme is live action with a girl just sitting there.... and then sitting somewhere else, and then out of nowhere.... she sits again! ugh...) but there is no freakin' way I am going to watch a single episode more. I don't want anymore of it's pointlessness, the crap that is supposed to be touching and sad but it just painful to watch, or... . NO! Don't believe me though.... if you want go and try out this DVD. I know some people migt like it, but I don't. Edit: I added screenshots. Pay attention especially to the rainbowing that is noticable in the video.
