An alright TV rip. The Logo appeared in the upper lefthand corner twice every episode (once in the beginning and another after the middle, as if coming back from a commercial), except for the first episode where it doesn't appear at all. The Logo (which is a blue oval that reads "AT-X") appears for a second and fades almost out as soon as it comes in. Besides this it is noticiable TV rip from it's so-so quality. Blue horizontal lines blip in and then out almost every episode (not that noticiable though), they're like the lines you would see on a VHS. In the beginning there is slow-moving pixelation on red. Towards some later episodes there is some heavier pixelation (on red, green and blue). The pixelation doesn't appear to often, so it really isn't bothersome. The last "flaw" was some glitches... where a part from another scene would flash on the screen and there were quick glitches of white on the top of the screen. Other than that it has clean flowing animation.
Audio:
Nothing to complain about. In sync and clear. Dialogue is present in Japanese only.

Story: Ikkitousen had an intriguing story. It was about a bunch of modern day fighters competing from different schools for the "Imperial Seal", plus to be known as the best. Though it actually isn't revolved around this competition... it deals with destiny of a time period called the Three Kingdoms. Each character is like a reincarnated version of a great General or Lord who are to follow a set destiny. This time around things are different, plots change, destiny's change, and the female fighters are reincarnated from guys! The first four episodes weren't to good on story, but it really picks up after the fifth episode. Menu: Menu's are pretty basic: "Play All", "Subtitles", and "Chapter". When navigating the menu's you have to go in a certain order (you can't go down to something that is bellow, you have to keep pressing over). When starting the disc it starts on the first episode on the disc. To get to the main menu, "menu" has to be pressed. While navigating the opening song is playing in the background. Packaging: It's a two disc set from AC/MAC so the pacakage is the same size as any other MAC two disc set (which is really small). It comes with a plastic slip cover and when the case is opened the two discs are inside facing eachother. Both discs have pictures of Hakufu and Ryomou. Also the cover (see cover) isn't the cover of the AC/MAC set. Content: TONS OF FANSERVICE. Every episode is packed with panty shots of all the female fighters. There is a lot of backside nudity, not much front side... there are always strategicaly placed things or just featureless front side. Besides that there is alot of sexual content. Nothing is shown tough, but it's incinuated that something is happening with shadows, movements, moans etc. This anime boasts alot of violence. Defiently an anime for a mature crowd. Opinion: I thought it was a good anime. Some parts were very funny! I really enjoyed the characters in Ikkitousen. The personality of each character is portrayed very well, as if they could be real people. Great story telling. Even though it isn't the best quality it's still a really good set. This would be a good set for someone who can look past quality faults for an anime that can really be enjoyed.

The video on this set appears to be a high quality digital TV rip (tv logo sometimes pops up). Not perfect dvd quality, but sill pretty good, it looks about like a brand new vhs tape would the first time you played it.
Audio:
The japanese audio is pretty clear, no noticable problems.

However on earth this "Anime" got by without being labeled a Hentai I will never know. It contains full frontal and backside nudity, revealing panty shots with visible imprints, girls orgasiming in pantys, girls masterbating other girls off, girls ripping each others clothes off in fights... And this isnt rare, it happens in most of the episodes, ive seen Henati's with less content than this "Anime" (Like Elven Bride) Definately not something for children to be watching.... regardless of if its labeled a Hentai or not EDIT: The Screenshots i added farther prove my point
