Video:
The video is very good on this disk. It varies from which mode you are watching. The 1st mode which has some CGI is fantastic. The 2nd mode is also very crisp and clear. The 3rd mode seems to be a little washed out though (nothing major and will not take away from the veiwing). There does seem to be a slight line running down the left side of the screen during all 3 modes, but it is hardly noticeable.
Audio:
The audio is great. I listened to this dvd using my RCA wireless headphones and it sounds awesome. Some popping here and there but I think it was just the age of the older shows.

Comment:
This is definately a must have for true Gundam fans. The dvd lasts about 50 minutes and is broken down into 3 modes: Story Mode- Side Story Mode- and Ace Pilot Mode. The 1st mode is all about the Original Gundam. It has a new CGI beginning and then summarizes the 0079 One Year War highlighting all of the best battles. A new scene actually has Amuro and Anavel Gato meeting in battle at the end of the War. The 2nd mode is an origianal story set in 0080 about 2 pilots and the ship that they serve on. It's only about 5 minutes but is pretty cool and the style used for the pilots gundams are definately Seed-Mecha . The last mode summarizes up 0083 and then talks about all of the Ace Pilots throughout the years. They seem to be mostly Zeon soldiers though. Some of the Pilots are reconized like Char and others are new characters that have not been seen before. Most of this special contains scenes that you have already seen in the origanal shows, but with narration. Some of the segements actually repeat, but there's enough new footage to make up the difference. It's pretty much like a refresher course in U.C. Gundam. This was a very fun and enoyable show. I had a great time watching it and it puts you in the mood to want to have a Universal Century marathon.
