R1 rip. Looks a little bit unsharp and there's noticeable ghosting, especially in darker scenes. Don't know if this was also in the original source, so it still may be a perfect rip.

If you like Ranma, this is a safe buy. Typical Ranma-stuff, and the set is very good despite its small flaws. Equipment used: Cheap Grundig 27" PAL stereo TV, Kenwood DVF-3080 PAL DVD player

The picture quality is a perfect R1 rip, and despite being made in 1992 this release still remains near DVD quality. No pixelation or macroblocking that I could see on my middle age tv (1998).

All the normal Ranma 1/2 voice actors are here in the dub. The Japanese dub is there, but I highly suggest watching the English dub since the acting quality is as good as if not better than the original Japanese dialogue.

The art in the movie is great almost as good as the OVA, the music is pretty good and better than the first movie. This movie is more like an extended episode; it doesn?t say or really point to what part in the series that it is taking place in. First of all this movie was not made by the original creator, Ms. Takahashi, and it wasn?t ever pinned by her either. Every one of the female characters in this movie seems to have become really busty, (plastic surgery maybe?) even ones that aren?t usually like that in the series (such as Ukyo and Nabiki). This is something teenage boys may like, but its really annoying if your a fan of the series. The name for this anime should be, "Ranma 1/2 Fan Service" rather than "Ranma 1/2 Nihao My Concubine". The story isn?t the strongest but if you want to see all girls of Ranma 1/2 in bikinis and at an all time ecchi level this movie is for you. However the one major plus that this movie is that if you are a fan of the pairing of Ranma and Akane, you will love this movie. I however really only suggest this movie to hardcore Ranma ½ fans.
