Reviews for Arjuna The Perfect Collection

Overall:

Video:

Video is R1 rip, beautiful in every aspect. The colors are vivid and there is a quaint sharpness that gives the video a nice touch. There is really nothing to complain about in this box set. The screen comes alive with movement and feeling. The artists and computer artisits must of liked this particular production and probably everyone else involed inthis project. Good Stuff!

Audio:

The audio lives up to the video quality, perfectly done, perfectly ripped. Everything is heard but, I think, because of the content of the film I don't think everything will be understood. Everything from the subtle sounds to the vivacious heartbeat of some of the sound tract can be heard with excellent quality. Good Stuff!

Subtitle:

Again, the subtitles live up to the rest of this box set, Perfect. There is no doubt tha the subtitles come from an R1 source. There is, what I like to call, english language proficiency present in this production so much so that when I listen to the japanese auido, being that I speak japanese. the translators took many liberties to inject there own ideals about he topic of the film. The translators don't stray from from the literal translation but they considerably jazz it up. I personally prefer they use the words that is being said in the japanese dialogue. I know japanese dialogue tends to leave out he subject leaving some non native speakers lost but sometimes translator have a field day with that. Anyway, subtitles are great. Good stuff

Comment:

Wow, This show is beautiful. from the art to the story. After watching this show I felt like i wanted to recycle and stop any pollution I was doing. In this film I enjoyed the slow parts more over the action because there is meaning that can be understood and taken to heart. This show shood be used to scare people into taking care of the earth. This film worth watching beacause it will leave a mark in your conciousness and you'll think twice before polluting the earth. The film does feel a little preachy but i think the message is just presented in a way so you won't forget it. Good stuff!
