Video:

Perfect R1 rip. I don't give full marks, because the original video looks kind of pale and washed out. Just compare the episodes' pale video to the quality of the second opening with its bright colours. But our HK friends didn't screw up anything.

Audio:

No problems on my simple stereo TV. I only listened to the Japanese audio, so I can't comment on the English dub.

Subtitle:

Comment:

I took a longer break watching this series between disc 3 and 4, because I wanted to catch up with the manga before watching the later episodes. So I might have forgotten some errors. But if that's the case they couldn't have been serious ones. A very good series. Fun, violence and naughty stuff with some social issues thrown in make a nice mixture. A very good anime and a perfect set. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! You should also get the manga, because this is one of the rare cases where I feel that the manga is even funnier than the anime. Video:

It looks like the official R1 dvds. People tend to think the video sucks but trust me its good!. I didn't saw any pixlation in scenes, I was surprised by that!

Audio:

Great audio, both english and japanese sounded excellent. Japanese sounded a little higher but thats normal in almost every R1 rip set.

Subtitle:

Not 1 missing line or typing errors!!. Subs are white with black outline. Theres was one episode were the subs were a little bigger than the other ones but I saw no problems with it. PERFECT SUBS!!

WHAT CAN I SAY!!!! Great Teacher Onizuka became one of my favorite animes of all time!!. Great story and characters!. Damn I was laughing so hard everyone at my house came to my room to see what all the fuss was about!! Its one of the funniest animes I have ever seen!!. Also has great emotional episodes so the show is not all laughs. It was great watching this series and I would have hoped my high school days were as much fun as this crazy anime but it wasn't =( MAC did an excellent job on this set, everyone who hasn't seen GTO should get this set or the FX one. It doesn't have special features but who needs them. Also the gatefold case is great. I'll buy the movie to see if its as good as the anime. Everyone buy GTO, its one of the funniest animes out there and you can't go wrong with this set!!!!!!
