AsukaXIkari covered most of this, but here are a few more issues. Video - The DivX of this show look about 40x better than these DVDs, that being said - somebody who hadn't already seen the DivX or SVCDs probably wouldn't be offended by it. The issue here is not so much the clarity, it's the brightness levels, the yellows, and the horrendous color bleeding present throughout. It looks like a steamy pile of crap. The audio, as aforementioned, is nothing special, but then, nothing especially bad. The subtitles rank somewhere between Animation Video of old (Ayashi no Ceres) and Animation Video of new (Tekkaman Blade) (Yes I know this is Anime Studio, but no company has progressed quite as much as Animation Video, thus showing a comparison is much, much easier) -They're fairly easy to understand, but awkward word choice and painfully incorrect names (Sadamitsu is Chun Dangang, Vulture is Wal Walga), and the occasional definition-instead-of-term is present. It's less engrishy than you'd expect, just retarded word choice and name butchering that kills it for me - not to mention that tiny font. For those who haven't seen the show, download the DivX, get the SVCDs, or hope for a better, future release. Those who have seen the show...do the same.

Worst offense of this set is the video. Likely a TV rip but surely a very bad one. Video quality fluctuates throughout and looks VHS quality. Audio isn't as bad as most AS sets as I did not notice any hum in the background. Descent but nothing really special, average at best. Subs- Yup, they suck. Understandable but utter crappy AS engrish here. Hopefully AC will release a perfect set using subs from the VCD's.
