Video:

The same quality as the first set, a good LD quality rip. I don't think it's a DVD rip, a bit lower quality, but nowhere near the quality of tv rips ...

Audio:

Almost all the audio is perfect, exept during a few eps, there is a strange sound to the end of some line's when somebody speaks. A kind of digital scratch.

Subtitle:

Here i need to point out at Dark sub review is bias like hell ... True, there are some misspellings & nameswitches, while the quality is about the same as the 3th DVD of the first set. There is only 1 eps where the subs are mistimed ( during a match ). But the subs are NOT worth a 2.0 score. 2.0 means you don't understand a daim thing about the subs. The subs are a 3.8 / 4.0 quality. There will be hardly anything you don't understand ( and this comes from a person who is obsessed with r1 quality subs ). So you don't need to worry to mutch about the sub's, the misspelling is not distracting, and you will not notice the nameswitching a lot ( it are always the same name's that switch ). Take it from somebody who has been watching HK original sub's from a few year already, the sub's are a lot better then most HK original subs out there ...

Video:

Video is clean and good for a 93 show.

Audio:

Nothing wrong there. 2.0 Japanese soundtrack.

Subtitle:

Well here is the problem. First of all, the subs are worse than Slam Dunk TV part 1, that's for sure. Starting from disc 2, they even get worse. Grammar error and using the wrong names (Rukawa instead of hanamishi, shohoku instead of shoyo etc..). The most annoying thing is a huge sync problem starting from the middle of disc 2 in the match against shoyo...subs are off by a good 2-3 seconds. While there isn't much engrish like Yuyu Hakusho, it still feel like the subber got fed up and wanted to finish the serie as fast as possible...not good news for the coming release of SD.

If not for the subs, this set would have been a must have...

Audio:

Disk1 'squeek' at end of a sentence occasionally. Disk2 and 3 has no such problem. Other than that, quality same as MI SD part1.

Subtitle:

Same as MI SD part1- English with occasional misspelling.

Comment:

As addictive as MI SD part1. I'm glad the part ended with the match agaist Shoyo - the team came 2nd from last year provicial semi final. Keep you watching til the end (for me atleast). MI, please hurry up with part3!!!!!!! I will get it even if I must eat with baked beans for the month ;-) (as a result of lack of fund)
