great dvd quality picture. there was a little pixilation during some of the high action scenes but its hardly noticable. in one episode the animation froze for a few seconds. i cant tell whether this is intentional(and if you know how unique the series is you may understand why) or if this is an actual problem.

excellent!! the english dub is perfect and the soundtrack to this series is top notch. no problems here. you may end up buying the soundtrack too since the tunes are so catchy.

i cant believe nobody reviewed this series!! this is an excellent series with a odd mix of sci-fi and comedy. in an ordinary town where nothing happens, a boy named naota, who fools around with his older brother's ex-girlfriend(what a pimp!), one day gets smacked upside the head by a vespa riding alien (haru haru haruka, what a mouthfull!) wielding a bass guitar. shorty after an odd horn protrudes from his head. then a robot comes out of it!! and this is just the first episode! the series is mainly about naota and haruka and her search for the pirate king. it is a unique romp that you wont understand whats going on at times. but you know what, thats what makes it so great. buy this dvd now, you wont regret it.
