Excellent! What other did we except from FX after publishing the TV Series in such a high quality?

Audio:

Same as for the video.

Subtitle:

Here the quality is not as good as by the TV Series. For some reason they didn't work out the subs well. (Please read the other reviews for more details, because I don't want to repeat them)

Comment:

Well, you can't to anything wrong in completing your Inu Yasha Collection with this DVD. But it's a pity that the quality in the subs is not as good as in the TV Series. The only week spot from this set.

I thought the video was crisp and clear. THough in the first movie there was a part in the movie that froze.

Audio:

The audio was also great no synch errors or other audio gaffs I noticed.

Subtitle:

The subtitles were ok.. Some spelling errors and mistimings. But not a lot to not let the movies be enjoyed.

Comment:

I really like this set although I want to see a set with english audio and also one with the third movie! On this set there is a trailer for the third movie.

The video is great. Its perfect. In the first movie though whenMenomaru released all his monsters it froze. but only a little.

Audio:

The audio is great it's crystal clear. too bad there is no english audio in the first movie. I like the english dubb more better.

Subtitle:

The subttiles were okay some misspellings and timming errors ( only in the first movie) The second movie I hated when Kaguya says a magic spell the subtitle says ABRACADABRA!! Wow so cool

Comment:

I liked the movies. It could have added the first english audio track. It also has a trailer for the third Inuyasha movie. I really want to see a set with all three movies. The third one came out last december. The cover also has a reversible cover.

The video was nice and clear, good quality for the most part. One or two very minor parts where a little pixelation shows up, but like I said, very minor. Good resolution for the most part, no skipping in either my DVD player or my PC.

Audio:

Japanese audio was wonderful! Perfect clarity and sound. Synchronized with the video perfectly. I didn't watch the movies much with the English dub because I really do prefer the Japanese audio. But the little bit I did see of the English dub sounded good. I didn't see a single problem with the Japanese audio.

Subtitle:

This is where the movies came up lacking. The subs wearn't bad, but they wearn't good either. There were quite a few typos in the first movie and alot of words that showed up without translation. Many of the titles and key phrases they did not bother to translate, but that isn't as big of an issue. In the first movie they also skipped a few lines. The second movie was much better, but there were still a few typos and one or two un-translated words thrown in. For both movies the subtitles were understandable, but they were not a top rating.

Comment:

I absolutely love the InuYasha series and the movies are some of my favorites. Unfortunately the second movie was the first time I had ever seen InuYasha before and I was somewhat confused. I would strongly recommend seeing the first two seasons at least before watching any of the movies. They explain alot and help you understand some of the comments and past events that are brought up in the movies. All in all, a good buy!

Good video quality. Skipped about 3.5 seconds in the end of the first movie, but nothing major.

Audio:

Good Japanese Audio, clear and crisp sound.

Subtitle:

You can't get many very good subbing jobs these days, but this movie did an okay job. Quite afew minor misspellings and name errors, but doesn't ruin the movie at the least.

Comment:

2 Good movies at a good price. It's a win win deal =P

Good video quality. There was one part in the 1st movie where it skipped for a second, although that may have been my copy only. Overall it was really good.

Audio:

The audio was pretty good during both movies. Overall sound quality was handleable.

Subtitle:

This is where the movie lacked superiorly. They were understandable but far from perfect. Sometimes the sub-titles were ahead of the show, or they would mess up on translation. Plus the attacks and aliases (example: houshi-sama) were not translated. There were also some minor spelling mistakes.

Comment:

Overall it was a good buy. Not great, just good. I don't think you will be dissapointed if you pick it up, especially if you like Inu Yasha.

Very clear, excellent clarity. There were some instances where there was very minor pixelation, but nothing to detract from the movie.

Audio:

Excellent audio, I had no problem with it.

Subtitle:

There were some typos and some misspellings. Sometimes it seemed like the subtitles didn't really go with the content of the movie -- but, again, nothing to worry about. It happened in not-so-important places and didn't detract from the plot. But, overall they were good.

Comment:

You don't necessarily need very much knowledge of the show before you see the movies, but I would reccomend it...

Video was very clear, very little pixellation except for a tiny amount during scenes of high action.

Audio:

Had no problems whatsoever with the audio

Subtitle:

I feel that the subbing on the first movie was indeed better than the second, but I noticed at least a dozen spelling errors and about 5 skipped lines. There was no translation of the written Chinese characters that appear on the screen, though I assume what is being said (and therefor subbed) at the time is the same as what is written there. Need to work on my language skills....

Comment:

I thoroughly enjoyed both movies. The animation style is very slightly different to that of the weekly anime, but you don't even notice that after a few minutes. The second movie I feel has a stronger story than that of the first, and I felt deep satisfaction when viewing Kagome's actions in a few scenes (been waiting for her to do that all along!). The only complaint I have is that at chapter 16, which is the beginning of the last big battle in the first movie, my dvd player choked and died. Literally, the disc shut the player off. It wouldn't even let me view any chapters between 16 and 24, which is almost half-way through the second movie! I tried the disc in my pc and it worked there, so I was able to finish watching in peace. But I have heard from others that this disc has that problem. I will be buying a new dvd player shortly, and hopefully it will not be so finicky. But be warned!

didn't notice any pixelation in the first movie but a bit at the beginning of the second movie

Audio:

crisp and clear

Subtitle:

Movie 1 :only noticed a few typos mistakes but that's all, very few of them, about 5 to 8 per movie, plus a few missing words. Movie 2 : few typo errors, bit more frequent than the first movie, also, when there's writting in chinese that appears on the screen, those parts are totally not subbed at all, but I believe those are more like a spell being casted so it's less worse in that case. Overall Movie 1 is near perfection but Movie 2 would of been nice to have same quality.

Comment:

It's better to know and to have watched the series before viewing these but the first movie they make a bit of a resume to what's going on ( very short and not too much described ) but it's still there. I mostly prefered the second movie, sicne at last Kagome does two things which I think she should of done a long time ago, I simply fell in love with this movie. For 9$ you get both movies that still have great quality in all. Also note that this is widescreen, so the subs are very easy to read, clear yellow for 1 movie and clear white for the other movie.
