Video:
The video was perfect. There was absolutely no pixelation at all. Also, no fading or bleeding colors. It's a region 1 DVD rip, so the picture was crisp and clear. The Christmas Special did skip for me, but it is probably my DVD player.
Audio:
The audio was perfect also. I only watched Love Hina in Japanese, because the English dubbed version is pretty bad. The voice actors really suck in the dub(I did briefly try the dub out).

The subtitles were really good. There were some unsubbed lines though(I took off half a star for it). There was about 4 to 7 lines total. It's really not that bad though. If you pay attention to what's going on, you will understand what they are saying.
I also took off half a star because the honorifics were translated. I really can't stand that. It's really hard to see the relationship between characters without them.
This is how they did it:
-chan was translated to Ms.
-kun was translated to Mr.
-san was translated to Mr. or Mrs.
-sempai was translated to Mr. or Ms.
Some people might not find that a big deal, but it really bothered me, so I knocked half a star off of the subtitle rating.
Extras:
As an extra, episode 25 of the Love Hina TV Series is on the disc. I don't know why, since it was on the Perfect Collection for the TV Series.

Well, I bought this because I am a huge fan of the Love Hina manga. Before I bought it, I was warned by a friend that the anime wasnt nearly as good, but I still bought it. Well, my friend was right. The anime isn't nearly as good as the manga, but I still think the anime is pretty good(as you can tell by the ranking I gave it). Love Hina tells the story of 20 year old loser Keitaro Urashima, who is trying to get into Tokyo University to keep a childhood promise, who then finds himself as manager of an all-girls dormitory, Hinata House, which was formerly ran by his grandmother.
The Christmas Special was really good. I especially liked the way it ended. The only bad thing was the character designs.
The Spring Special was very disappointing. Instead of being about Naru and Keitaro, it is now about Shinobu(that's not my problem with it though). Everytime it started to get good and interesting, something stupid would happen, and it started to get bad. The very end wasnt bad, but it couldn't save it. It also had horrible character designs.
The specials were good, but it was done a lot better in the manga.
Love Hina Again was pretty good. For one, there was a new character designer, so the characters actually look like what they did in the manga. The story did get a little odd at the end of the second episode, but by the middle of the third episode, it was back to normal. I really enjoyed how it ended. I'm pretty sure it was done better in the manga, but it was extremely good.
Despite some bad character designs for the specials and making the Spring Specail about Shinobu, this was great. It has comedy, romance, and may be even a slight bit of drama. All in all, it was good. I recommend it. However, if you have read the manga first, you might not like the anime as much as if you had not read the manga first.
