Video:

Perfect, it must be taken from a japanese DVD. At the beginning of the 1st disc, I saw a MI logo so it must a straight rip of the MI discs. Unfortunately, if you have a widescreen TV, you won't be able to use it because it's not compressed in an anamorphic mode (letterbox).

Audio:

Stereo sound but using a Dolby Prologic 2 decoder will give you some rear effects even if I have heard better.

Subtitle:

If you read the reviews about the MI release, you know what to expect. These subs are fansubs scripts but, as usual, it's not a perfect copy and paste, I saw a lot of typos (such as l instead of i). Sometimes, a line will be late, you will see two flash subs and the rest of the episode will be nice. I think that they used various fansubs scripts because the tranlation is bit different in some episodes. (It's obvious during the opening subs for instance).

Comment:

I haven't watched the whole series yet, I will update this review soon but I don't think I'll have something else to add according to the MI set reviews, the reviewers didn't complain about engrishy episodes so I think it will be the same for this set. Update : As I expected, there is no change during the rest of this set except that there is less missing lines during discs #2 & #3. Overall, this is a good set but now that the R1 DVDs are all released I think you should wait for a new release from FX for instance ;)
