Barely tolerable-on 4 discs the video is quite a bit worse than the R1's that it is ripped from. Postscript-do not watch the R1 dvds or you'll see how bad the video really is compared to the source-you see, the originial series is on 4 dvd9's, here 3 dvd5's and one dvd9 so there is a lot of compression-better to rent and rip the R1 dvds or just buy them.

This is a very good outing for Lina Inverse and company. There is a lot of difference between this and the original R1 release especially the video. I'm a big Slayers fan, as if you could't tell, ha ha!

Whoa... Awesomeness galore! Cudos to you, AS! I now love you. Video-- (5/5) You can't get any better than this, folks! The only thing I can POSSIBLY compare this to is FX's Macross Do You Remember Love: Perfect Edition. ^_^ Audio-- (4/5) Maybe it's just my player, but the audio is a little jerky. It sort of pops off evey now and again, but it's good, nonetheless. Subtitles-- (5/5) Godly... -_- Content-- (3/5) Some enjoyable stuff, but nothing spectacular. I hope to pick up Slayers Try, and the original Slayers series soon.

video: 5/5 looks likea real dvd sound: 5/5 I gota give AS props for adding a english track to this. I would never watch it in english, but it's a nice feature to have anyways, some people might wanna see it dubed subs: 4/5 looked fine overall impression: AS did a great job with this series, great video and sound. The entire slayers series done by AS is gold.
