Video:
Using the original R3 DVD release as a source for the video, there is practically nothing wrong with this pristine transfer. No macroblocking, no sharp edges, colour saturation is kept to a bare minimum, this is simply the very best transfer I have seen on ANY HK DVD to date.
This is especially important since Wonderful Days is such a visually appealing and complex production that requires the utmost clarity to fully display it's awesome art and animation. Already I can say with some confidence, that the visuals in this movie are comparable with the upcoming big budget Ghost In The Shell: Innocence Fortunately, the transfer on this disc is more than up to the job.
No problems here folks.
Audio:
The audio on this disc is solid throughout without any hissing, hang outs or compression problems.
Also as a side note, i've not had any problems whilst listening to the DTS audio track on my PC and Cyberhome DVD Player. I believe it was reported (with the MI version at least) that there was significant sound distortion and dropout some way into the movie, thankfully such problems don't appear to exist here.

Comment:
Wonderful Days is an asthetically accomplished production that besides needing to be a little longer, is a movie that stands on it's own merits. Jaw dropping to watch and mesmirising to experience, this is simply a movie that has to be seen to believed. A tour de force of animation, and a shining example of Korean animated productions catching up to lofty standards set by the best of the land of the rising sun.
