Video:
The quality stays consistent throughout these DBZ MI sets. The video and color is crisp and clear. No matter if I am watching it on a 34" TV or a 20" TV... The colors are so vivid and perfect. Pixelation, if any, is very hard to notice and may only be noticable by pausing or looking close to your television.
*There is minor pixelation when Piccolo powers up in front of Imperfect Cell. Also there is a bit during their fight.
Audio:
The R1's have the original mono sound that DBZ was made in... Yet, MI decided to produce a pseudo-stereo effect with their sets. The result is no echoing and clear audio. It is not real stereo sound like Dolby 5.1, but this wasn't how DBZ was produced in the first place. You will hear every yell and action noise perfectly.

Comment:
This set only has two discs and the second disc only has three episodes on it... But, wait! The Bardock Special is added on the second disc. So the history of Gokou's father is unfolded. As for the series, it is now taking shape to the best part. The great battle with the Z warriors and Cell is on its way! Pick this set up.
