It is the year After War 0015. Fifteen years ago, the Earth Federation and the Space Revolutionary Army waged the cataclysmic Seventh Space War, in which the greater part of the human race was slain. As a final, desperate gambit, the Space Revolutionary Army attached rocket engines to hundreds of space colonies and set them in motion towards the planet. The Federation's ultimate weapon, the Gundam X, tried and failed to stop the mass colony drop, and the war ended in chaos and catastrophe. The Earth was reduced to a wasteland that could barely support life. Fifteen years after the end of the war, we find a tough young man called Garrod Ran living among the ruins. Teaming up with the beautiful Tiffa, and allowing her guidance, Garrod acquires an MS Gundam-X that had been used in the conflict 15 years before. Together with the land battleship Freedom, they become embroiled in the growing conflict over the Gundam "New Types"...
