Video:
As a reviewer, I was trying to look for ways to lower the video score (I feel too humble as a reviewer sometimes) but this set was from FX, so I had to give into the 5. Other than slight pixelation and a few distorted transition scenes (you'll notice if you are very attentive), the video quality is great. Major props for FX.
Audio:
No problems here. The Japanese track matched perfectly with the anime. English wise is good too, though I hadn't checked in all episodes for the English dubs. Loud and clear, didn't need to change the volume at all.

Sidenotes:
+ As everyone pretty much mentioned before, the subs tend to stop when translating a sign. I found it kinda odd because they seemed to have no problem translating two voices going at the same time (i.e. the tv and onizuka talking at the bar, as well as other instances) but for signs, it would simply translate the sign and not the actual voice. Disturbing for following in depth conversations.
+ The intermissions where kanji words were displayed on live pictures during the middle of the show weren't subbed. I still don't know what they say during those intermissions. =P
+ If you're impatient like me, you'll sometimes skip the intro because you want to see the actual episode. However, on a number of episodes (starting from disk 2), part of the intro (when the words GTO are displayed) is left off in the next chapter. So you know how theres 4 parts to every episode: intro, part 1, part 2, ending. Well, the ending of the intro is cut off and put into part 1, which disturbed me, because I wanted to get into the show as immediate as possible. Perhaps I'm just picky, but hey, that's me.
+ Complete 5 set DVD rips, just like the 5 DVD R1 set. That's right: that means no compacting 2 disks worth of episodes into 1 DVD, and that means no shabby submenus. No offence, FX, I love you guys, but when I saw your submenu in AI Yori Aoshi, I was saddened... saddened and tired. Grammatical errors irritate me, so thanks for doing this. =)
+ A great show, case closed. It's funny, it's action packed, it's dramatic.. it's everything an anime should be and more. Onizuka is a suberb anime, and in this case, is combined into an even greater set. FX has done it again. I'm out. =) Hope you found this review helpful friends.
