Video:

Typical AS R1 rip treatment here. This dvd looks just as good as it's R1 counterpart which wasn't too hot looking to begin with. Whilst the rip itself is practically perfect, the source that it was ripped from is not. The transfer appears to be overly blurly and saturated during many of the lit scenes and those of you with high-end AV equipment will notice a nice bit of macroblocking during the night scenes (which encompass nearly 80% of this anime). Great rip, shoddy source.

Audio:

Yay! Basic stereo here we come! Again the usual R1 rip treatment is afforded to the audio too. Sure everything sounds fine and dandy but it's in standard stereo dammit! Just the same as the R1 really. Take that as you will.

Subtitle:

No question, if you have to watch this show, watch it subbed. You want a reason? How about the fact that this dub is the most horrific dub i've heard since the Macross: DYRL was cut down into Clash Of The Bionoids and then re-released by an Austrialian company I won't name. This dub is simply reprehensible. None of the actors can emote. None of them can put emotion into their lines and heck, it seemed like most of them were reading from autocue! I guess that's a somewhat typical description of most Manga voice actors circa 90-93 eh? :) In terms of subtitles, I couldn't see any real glaring problems. Apart from a couple of mistimed lines and some subs dissapearing off the screen once or twice, the subs on this title are pretty darn sweet. Just don't watch that dub.....

Ah yes, another excellent R1 rip by AS. Video: 4.5/5 No problems. Audio: 4.5/5 Excellent. English dub included. Only tried on 2-speaker PC system, though. Subs: 5/5 Perfect. Well... I'm starting to feel that good R1s rips are usually lousy anime. General feeling when watching this anime: confusion! I have no idea what kind of story there is to this title... Caution: very gory, lots of nudity.

Audio/Video/Subs - all 5/5... just like I've come to expect from R1 rips. Dubs - Maybe they could hire some voice actors rather than inviting their friends over... Content: What a weird mix of sex and violence. The amount of sex puts this in the hentai domain while the violence is also a major part of the story. Unfortunately, everything feels slapped together without too much thought to story or direction.
