Good for the most part, but on discs 2 and 3 there was a little pixelization only noticeable on dark scenes
Audio:
Audio was good. I primarilly watched the japanese track, I did check the english dub a few times to see how they translated some things. It was good

This series was something different, not your typical anime and surprised me because I had thought the series was not as dark as it was. There were some extras on the 3rd disc in the form of sketches, the first 2 discs had creditless openings. Also on the 23rd episode I am pretty sure that a few seconds are cut off from the begining it seemed to start abruptly, unless that is how it was suppossed to be.

There was a little rainbowing on one of the episodes on the last disk, no bid deal at all. It only lasted about 15 seconds and the whole rest of the series was perfect.

I never noticed a single flaw.

This is one of the best animes I've ever seen. I did not like the first episode but after that it just got better and better. The characters are very interesting and there is someone there to like for everyone. Reiha and Larva are awesome characters. Things fall into perfect place without you even knowing and it all crashes down in possibly the best ending climax in a series to date. It may not be your favorite, because it isn't mine, but you're bound to enjoy it. Can't think of any reason not to recommend it.

Looks almost perfect, little (if any) pixelation . But in DVDs 2 and 3 i noticed some "ghostiness" when the image gets dark (probably a problem from the R1s, from what i read). But i am being really, really picky...
Audio:
No problems. Contains Japanese and English Tracks

Extras : Image Galleries, Creditless Op /Ending , Characters / Scene / Scenery Skectches Slighty strange episode distriution : 7+9+10 (they just ripped 2 R1 and put it in 1 DVD) The first 3 episodes have just one opening and Ending + Next Episode preview ...but that's not Mac fault since the R1 were made like this. The others all include Opening/ Ending /Next Episode Previews

nothing special, maybe a bit of pixelation when at one scene everything was black but that's for like 3 seconds either than that it's perfect
Audio:
english and japanese track are great, clear to hear everything though in the first episode (english language) when the big lizard talks it's hard to understand becasue of the way they made him talk but either than that both languages are very fine to me.

Comment:
This series was enjoyable though I expected it to be more better since it implicates vampires and demons ( shinmas ) but I was kinda disappointed a lot. There's a bit of action maybe 2 to 4 minutes in every episode but seems to repeat itself alot. In other words once you've seen the first few episodes the fight scenes all look the same to me, no new techniques or hard battles for Vampire Miyu. Basically almost every episode therE's a new shinma that appears with different powers and abilities and Miyu's job is to hunt them down and send them back in the dark world, with the help of sometimes Larva a shinma that came form the west. What kept me intrigued in this is actually Larva's past and how he came to serve Miyu. If you like an anime with not much action scenes but still a good and different story here and there that makes it a bit interesting then I guess you found the series. Note there's some magic in it and this other guardian girl with her puppet that can get on nerves of people, but that's my opinion. in all I don't regret buying this for a great price but it still will take a while before I watch it again.
