Video:
TV rip on tape. A little bit grainy, some pixelation now and then, some tape glitches. But most of the times in the first 9 episodes it's very good and could be taken for a DVD rip if you don't look too close. I would have given it 4 stars, but on the last 4 episodes the quality degrades a little bit with more tape glitches, some few disturbances in the TV signal and some "shaky" moments especially during scene transitions.
Audio:
No problem on my simple stereo TV, but I had the feeling there were some strange volume changes during the opening song. Didn't notice anything during the episodes, though.

Comment:
This is a rip of the AV set.
An average anime. Not a total waste of time, but definetely no must-buy. If you want some recent space academy anime, I would recommend to get "Stellvia" instead of this one.
