I hated this series. I don't like magic series like this or Lodoss war that much, but if you are in to those types of shows this seems one of the better shows.

Video is pretty good, not perfect. I'm not sure if its a result of the originals or not, but sometimes a little bright. Noticeable when their is a dark scene and the screen is black.
Audio:
No problems with the sound. I watched with Japanese audio. I switched to the english track sometimes and didn't like it all that much.

no pielation perfect
Audio:
both languages are perfect, though ( in my personal opinion ) the two annoying little brats ( volcan and his brother ) their voices are annoying no matter which track you pick.

Disc 1 has episodes 1 - 6 Disc 2 has episodes 7 to 14 Disc 3 has episodes 15 to 24 Plus you have a preview of the upcoming episodes on every discs along with opening and endings themes. If you put aside the weird distribution of episodes it's really a perfect collectino to have for any Orphen fan ! Also this has a very intriguing plot, along with some fighting scenes and lots of comedy but very good show in my opinion.

In spite of the weird episode distribution (they just ripped 2 r1 DVDs ant put it in one DVD) - 6 + 8 + 10... the Video looks pretty good even though it seems a little washed out and sometimes it just too "Bright" - Too much brightness (i read that this is just a problem with the r1 that aren't that great and have that problem, not MAC fault)...i found no Pixealation (if there was any i didn't really noticed)
Audio:
No problem, contains English and Japanese audio tracks

Comment:
Contains no Extras. DVDs 1 and 3 annoyingly have just one chapter break per episode ...DVD 2 though has the regular 5 chapter breaks/episode...don't know why they did like this....apart from it, there really isn't any major problem with this set. Weird episode distribuition through the DVDs , though ... oh well ...
