Video:
Personally, I think they ripped this alot better than their first set which also included the English dub...The picture could be compared to the AS/MAC versions of Love Hina if that helps draw a conclusion about the quality of the picture...I didn't notice any pixelation at all between the fighting and the transformation scenes..The mechas clashed swords and once again I didnt notice heavy pixelation like the Tekkaman Blade set suffered slightly with in some scenes.
Audio:
I switched the audio over to English and Japanese off and on through the first disc and didn't notice any problems on this set...I own a basic stereo 19' Philips TV in case you were wondering so I'm unable to comment if their is hissing or any of the other HK audio dvd issues that viewers with surround sound systems sometimes complain about...Also, the voices were in sync not like the Fushigi Yuugi disaster from season 2 the Blue Dragon set..

Comment:
Finally, the continuation of the Magic Knight Rayearth saga is finally here...The story starts off a little bit strange but all the question marks are answered about the ending of the first season...The girls wake up back home in Tokyo...Things aren't going well for them but the rest I wont spoil for you =P...I am currently viewing the second disc and when I complete the set I will post up the continuation of my review...The first disc behaved as well as a Perfect Collection could possible behave..The chapter breaks include the opening and ending of the show..In other words, if you dont want to sit through the opening theme then you can just click on next on your dvd player or PS2 or pc or whatever and it will take you to the beginning of the episode...You may also skip the closing credits as well..So each episode is divided into four breaks..The opening, the begining, the return from commercial break Magic Knight Rayearth and the closing credits...I personally never sat through the closing credits so I'm not really sure if there are any sneak previews for the next episode..Overall, this is a safe buy from what I can tell in the first two discs and if you want to complete the set dont forget to pick up the Magic Knight Rayearth OVA set which is out too..Enjoy!
