Video:
Generally pretty good but maybe less sharp than maybe the last set. It's still slightly washed out and looks a bit 'dusty' with some slight cloudy artifacts. For the hour long special the video picks up and gets sharper with more vivid colours (probably because the source was better seeing as they spent more time and money on the special). Lastly I didn't notice any water marks or email addresses or anything.
Audio:
Same as the last sets nothing to complain or praise about.

The subs for the first one and a half discs is pretty good like the other sets but when you hit the special half way through the second disc the subs get worse ranging from 10-20% worse (The last sets had varying sub quality also though remember) but they stay like this till the end. Still good HK original subs but not as good as they could be which sometimes means some cases are harder to concentrate on than others as details are not explained properly. The set obviously doesnt have honorifics but we still see stuff like 'sister' and 'uncle' etc. There was also one missing sub and one sub that was on frame for literally 1/10 of a second (Translating text under a photo) I had to move frame by frame to see it. Sempai translated as 'senior' and the usual stuff like that. Also names don't seem to be right for any minor characters but they make up a Japanese name thinking we won't guess it's wrong. Conan was 'Conan' in a few eps but then back to 'Konan'. Only about 40-50% of next episode previews were subbed. Lastly I noticed something like this 'We've went from ??? to go to ???' which looks to me like they couldn't understand the names of places they were saying so just wrote '???' lol...
Comment:
Menus: The same menu for chapters was used in each disc so that you couldnt see what ep was what as the images they used for the buttons were from eps off the first disc. Overall good set again with a slightly annoying drop in subs but nothing that should stop you buying this. The episodes are the usual self contained stories with little progression in characters (yes Conan still uses the dart watch) but still enjoyable. The episodes that span two episodes can get boring as they mostly could of been done in one... The hour special is more like two episode than a linked story as one ends half way through the special and isnt mentioned again... Edit: I just remembered that the discs had some errors on them that looked like a layer change was about to happen (Like when it freezes for a second) but it never moved on it just stuck so I had to use the fast forward button to carry on often missing some dialogue. Probably just errors on my set and not a gaurantied problem but I had heard that MI has started to use some lower quality factories to make their discs. Hope we don't see an FX stlye wave of faulty discs... Not a major problem but it happened like four or five times over the whole set.

Video:
Most of the time really sharp, sometimes it'll fade (colors dull, less sharpness). Pretty much on par with the first 3 sets.
Audio:
Good. Nothing wrong with it. Just not mind blowing. Just like the first 3 sets.
Subtitle:
Pretty good HK originals. Sometimes worded strangely, but the meaning is never lost. Just like the first 3 sets (see where I'm going here).

Another sure buy for Conan fans. God I love this series! Plus we get some really interesting cases in this set, and check out the cover for one of the coolest characters :). If you liked the first 3 sets, this is a can't miss.
