Same as other sets, maybe a little washed out and could be slightly sharper but still great.
Audio:
Same as other sets also, clear and clean.

There are some mistakes, mainly in the first disc and half of the second. Conan is now Konan (this remains throughout) and I noticed a few other name spellings were wrong such as Genta is now back to Gentai in some eps. In the ep with Gomera, Gomera got changed to Elona or something aswell even though Gomera was written on the directors hat!... The subs for the first half have overall dropped a bit in quality compared to the other sets. They are still very good though but not as clear as the others... I think they might have an english language speaker checking the subs with no knowledge if they are right or not so you don't get grammar errors. In one case an ice pick is used to stab someone and I think Conan actually says something like 'ice pickou' or something and they translate it as an 'ice machine' lol (You can see it in my screenshot)... The thing is if they can make a mistake with something that easy then how are they translating Conans reasonings etc? After about half way through the second disc The subs get right back on track and actually get even better than some of the other sets... Names of minor characters seem to be correct and we even see 'sempai' used and technical terms...
Comment:
Nice set and I hope the others have the same sub quality as the second half of this set. There's a nice episode with Kaito Kid to thats well worth a watch...

Video:
Just as good as parts 1 and 2. Probably copied from an LD, but very crisp. Just a few signs of "too many episodes per disc" compression.
Audio:
Good. Nothing bad. Nothing mind blowing either. But no problems.
Subtitle:
The same quality as set 2. Good HK originals, with a few lines per episode where the grammar gets a little too literal or sometimes Engrishy. Very easy to follow the plot though (and some of the mysteries are very twisty). All of the after-credits sequences are subtitles too.
Comment:
If you liked what you saw on the first two sets, this is a can't miss. Great show and fun characters. I just wish they'd kill off those annoying kids that Conan is occassionally forced to hang out with. Those gradeschoolers just piss me off... but that's neither here nor there.
