Can't really complain about the video for this set at all...A R2 set is out I think so AV may have used this is a source for their video..I couldn't give it a 5, due to the amount of episodes that are placed on each disc you can notice a few pixelation here and there...Definitely way better than the digisubs that are out for the show since you don't have any frames freezing up on you or anything like that throughout the show.

Audio:

No hissing noticed here...no echos...no _______.....nothing to worry about.

Subtitle:

The subtitles are pretty much on point throughout the show...I had the luxury of watching this show on digisubs (Xenon Fansubs) and the translations are pretty much the same...I'm not sure though if maybe AV copied Xenon's script and just changed a few words here and there so it wouldn't be 100% plauguerizing...You can tell from the wording of the subtitles that this may have happened to be the case...It's like they copied and then instead of the word "leaders" they chose to use the word "instructors"...Also, there were some name changes that took place here : AV name = Correct name Perusha = Persia Russel = Rosenkreuz SS = Estest Nagoe = Nagi ( from the regular series) Tuji = Tsuji ?????= Schwartz ( I can't remember the exact letters they chose but the viewer can just listen and they will clearly hear the correct name : ) ) ?????= Crushers Cloudfer = Crawford Miss Fujimaya = Fujimaya Sensei ( Sensei = teacher/important person every otaku knows that one =P) Lakers = Rex ( whats funny about this one is that when the opening begins they clearly say show Rex!) Scrula = Sulia If you can get by these name changes then I strongly suggest picking this set up because it is 100% understandable so don't worry about making up sentences in your head or anything like I can honestly say like 90% of the subs are fine and 10% are just the name changes.

Comment:

I suggest watching this show straight like on a weekend or if you're home from the vacation...This show in my opinion is better than the tv series because the mood of th show is darker and more violent too..The mood resembles that of the OVA and the animation has thankfully improved as well..It is one of those shows that every little scene plays into the next episode...I can't think of any filler episodes here for the show. As the previous viewer commented the ending of the show is pretty bad because you have to figure out what the ending really is =/..hopefully the producers of the show can settle things in court and continue the show because for the show to end like that would really really suck...Overall you should get this set asap and enjoy.

Comment:

Disc 1 contains episode 1 - 8 Disc 2 contains episode 9-13 I really liked this set, starts off with the old White Hunter Aya and slowly the gang reunites with their new looks and all. They're 2 new white hunters with their own reasons and past which you come to discover with time. The story starts with mysterious suicides in this strict ruled school and nicely develops into a really intriguing story. The story takes place many years later as Omi ( who's the younger of the White Hunters ) is now adult. You'll know when the characters start to pop up through out the story and for once the ending also ends unfortunaly the great saga of Weib Kreuz. Note that Episode 13 is where all white hunters finally found their answers to what they've been looking for when they first began being hunters, and thei wish are mostly fulfilled. Unfortunatly in my opinion despite that's it's a great way to end such an amazing saga, but SPOILER I wish they hadn't done such a thing concerning Aya. It kinda cutted it short and then in your own ming you have to figure out if he's not going to die and all. END OF SPOILER Also the plot and twists in this mini series is the same as weib kreuz, so weib kreuz fans get your hands on this amazing mini series I sure don't regret it and sure will buy the best of the best when FX of ADV gets all of them out together.
